Shreeya Mhade is a PhD candidate in the CEPH Lab. She received her bachelor’s degree in microbiology and her master’s in bioinformatics from the University of Mumbai, India. Her research focuses on modeling the epidemiology of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) and evaluating the impact of immunization strategies. She develops mechanistic transmission models to project RSV burden across age groups, and her projections have been submitted to the CDC Scenario Modeling Hub. She is currently extending this work by integrating an economic model to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of RSV immunization programs.
